The Associated General Contractors of New Jersey is the premiere statewide association of general and specialty contractors involved in heavy and highway construction, site development and utility contracting on public and private projects. We are one of ninety-six (96) state chapters all belonging to Associated General Contractors of America, the largest national construction association in the nation.

AGC of NJ was chartered in May 1936 by a handful of progressive highway contractors who had the foresight to realize that only in unity could they meet the challenges that lay ahead.
