Mission
The Associated General Contractors of New Jersey is a statewide association of general and specialty contractors involved in heavy and highway construction, site development and utility contracting on public and private projects. We are one of ninety-six (96) state chapters all belonging to Associated General Contractors of America, the largest national construction association in the nation. AGC of NJ was chartered in May 1936 by a handful of progressive highway contractors who had the foresight to realize that only in unity could they meet the challenges that lay ahead.
